FAQ

Tandem jumps are not possible from the Verzasca dam.

First timers for the 007 Bungy Jump can do the Classic forward jump. Night jumps are possible for first timers too. To spice up your jumping experience thereafter - from the 2nd jump onwards you can do backwards jumps and from the third (at very earliest) the Ultimo jump (reservation for the latter MANDATORY). It's the jump master's decision whether a special jump is doable or not (experience, weather etc.).

No. You can however use our GoPro at additional cost. Jumps with one’s own camera are not possible for reasons of organisation and copyright.

In order to avoid disappointment we strongly recommend you book your jump in advance, especially on weekends and particularly if you travel from abroad or have to travel a fair way. Plus you want to be sure we’re on site. For further information and bookings, click here.

Generally yes. We need at least a guarantee of payment (credit card number, expiry date) in order to guarantee a date/time for your jump. Provisional bookings are treated as spontaneous bookings, so no guarantee for a set time which may require a good amount of patience and flexibility.

Yes with 3 exceptions: Overflowing of the dam (due to high water of the lake), thick fog or severe thunderstorms and lightning. The latter two happen every now and again – we take a break, let the weather pass and on we go.
Bungy Jumping is an outdoor activity and will take place in most weather conditions. Rain itself is not an issue, nor is it a reason for free cancellation or postponement. Please understand that we handle this pretty strictly. It’s called weather and it happens every day :-) !

Soft contact lenses are not a problem. Hard lenses might be if they fall out easily. Glasses – better not unless you bring your sports goggles with a tight elastic band to keep them safely in place. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.

Yes, there are:

Pregnancy, people with high blood pressure, heart disorders, epilepsy, damage to the musculoskeletal system, neurological disorders, glaucoma, ocular hypertension, chronic ear ailments with disturbance of equilibrium.
Furthermore the jumper must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or mind-altering medication. Please consult your doctor before you book a jump if you're taking medication or are insecure about whether you are fit to do a bungy jump or not. You will be signing a liability release before your jump.

Yes, there are. The minimum weight is 45 kg and the maximum 115 kg.

As long as the Bungy Jumper follows the instructions, the activity holds no further risks than other outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, surfing etc. If you make your way safely to the dam on these winding roads you already survived the most dangerous part.

From registration to completion of your Bungy jump allow roughly 45 minutes. Please understand that due to unforeseeable circumstances such as traffic jams on the way, delays of public transport or delays of booked customers we sometimes cannot avoid waiting times even though we really do plan meticulously. We try our best to avoid such waiting times but always under the careful consideration of all required safety standards.

Once you arrive at the reception trailer in the middle of the dam, you fill in your registration form, do the payment (if not done in advance), then we check your weight, you need to empty your pockets (car keys, phones and such!), get your harness and do a jump training and when we’re all ready to go you'll be called up to the platform for the jump. Once you're back from the jump - go get a drink and your certificate at the registration trailer.

No. This would be handled as a last minute cancellation and it’s costly. Please read our cancellation policy before you book the jump in order to avoid unpleasant surprises. Simply put: Once you book your jump - you step into a binding contract with a provider of an activity - that's us.

A little note for last minute fears: We do understand that this dam(n) wall is high and impressive! And you might have a little knot in your throat and gut. But honestly? It’s part of the game and you didn’t come to us for a walk through the park, did you? You came here for something special, you made up your mind – so we suggest you pull through with it! You won’t regret it!
